This is the third (5th if you count the prequels) book in a series with compelling characters, excellent world building, plot that will keep you reading past your bedtime, and ethical questions relevant to our current (over) connected world that will make you take a long breath and really THINK for a minute if you let them sink in.

This volume wraps up some of the loose ends the last ones left, while still leaving plenty of themes open for the next two books in the series (which are yet to come). The complex dynamic between Wesley and Stephen just gets more so, but there's finally, finally some hope of the characters getting past their various misunderstandings. Be warned-- the middle of this book gets very dark, due in large part to the exploration of the workings of a character who has been, and continues to be, badly abused. It is not comfortable to read, but it is very well-done for all that. I'm looking forward to finding out what happens next...

note to author please write more...soon!...it took me quite a while to finish the last chapters...because i portioned it out for myself, knowing it was going to end soon...i have just finished this one and already miss the characters, their stories & their universe...the whole series was a thoroughly enjoyable experience...and highly addictive!
A wonderful addition to the series. I cant wait for the next one. The flow and rhythm were smooth and carried you right to the end. I love these characters and think of them often.
